MARKETING JURY HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!

VII International advertising and marketing Festival White Square will be held in Minsk on April 23-25. The competition program includes 13 contests which will be evaluated by five main jury categories: creative jury, design jury, marketing jury, interactive jury, social advertising jury.    

At the moment complete Marketing Jury category has been announced.  

 

Karina Ogandzhanyan

Vice-President, Co-owner at TWIGA Communication Group, RUSSIA 


Academician of Russian Advertising Academy.  In 1993 with a partner started TWIGA company which is currently the largest independent communication group in Russia and the CIS and already for 5 years in a row is included into the rating of TOP-10 creative ad agencies by Association of Communication Agencies of Russia. The agencies of the group have won over 300 awards at international and Russian festivals including Cannes Lions 2014. Karina is a founder of creative TWIGA’s festival Pockets and the festival of creative initiatives Festashki. In 2012 she released her own book. Is constantly participating in the jury of different festivals. In 2014 presented Russia in Promo&Activation Cannes Lions Jury.

Successfully worked with world-famous brands L’Oreal, Lufthansa, Microsoft, Motorola, Nestle, Danone, Renault, Tefal, Ford, Siemens, Gillette, HP, Thomson and many others. Jury member at local Polish and foreign at festivals including White Square, Adrenalinas, International Advertising Biennale Poрok etc. 

 

Veronica Pisarenko

Chairman of the Board at Forte Group, Director at Forte Grey, BELARUS


Advertising Legend according to Association of Ad Organizations of Belarus, The Person of the Year according to Rotary Clubs Business. Started her career in advertising as a founder of a legendary today agency Forte Grey, later created two more media agencies and four creative agencies. Under her leadership the agencies of Forte Group have won over 70 awards at international ad festivals such as London International Ad Festival, White Square, Golden Hammer, Golden Drum, KIAF, Red Apple, EuroLine, Golden Wolf, including Cannes Lions awards – first place at Young Creative Challenge and second at Young Design Lions.

Has been working at the leading ad agencies of the world such as TBWA, Duval Guillaume, McCann, Leo Burnett, Emakina. Five years ago started his own company Abracadabra. Is a holder of over 50 international industrial awards including 4 Cannes Lions, Clio, Epica, Eurobest, New York Festivals, Cresta, LIAA, Sharks, FAB and many others. Besides these he owns 35 awards of Creative Club of Belgium. As a jury member was invited to New York Festivals, Cresta Awards, White Square, Golden Drum, Media Awards, Creative Club Of Belgium and others.

 

Márton Jedlicska

The youngest Creative Director in Hungary, started his career at BBDO as a teenager, then graduated from Miami Ad School and worked at several prestigious agencies across the globe including Duval Guillaume, Saatchi&Saatchi New York and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. After living in 13 different apartments, returned home to Budapest to get married and help Isobar to become the most respected agency in the country. His work has been recognised through awards of  Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, Mixx Awards, Art Director’s Club, The One Show and many local and regional festivals.  Was a jury member at Cannes Lions, Art Director's Club Global, Cristal Festival, New York Festivals and many others.

Ekaterina has been a jury member at different ad festivals including White Square, Silver Mercury, Popok, KIAF, Globe Awards, EFFIE RUSSIA. 

 

Dmitri Apolenis

On the way to profession has tried himself as a radio DJ, anchorman, newspaper editor, copywriter. In 2004 has become a co-founder of the first branding company in Belarus – AIDA Pioneer which today successfully works with the largest national and international clients and holds one of the leading positions in creativity ratings of Association of Ad Organizations of Belarus. For many times his projects has become the finalists and the prize winners  of ad festivals among which are White Square, Red Apple, Idea!, Advision Awards, Golden Hammer, Popok, Adstars, PORA, Adnak. Has been a jury member at White Square, Adnak, social advertising festival PORA. 

 

Sandro Gelashvili

Creative Director at Action Group, RUSSIA


Graduated from National Institute of Nuclear Research that didn’t prevent him from becoming one of the youngest and most successful creative directors in Russian ad industry. Currently is holding the position of creative director at Action Group – one of the largest groups of marketing agencies in Russia, many times prize winner of local and international ad festivals including Silver Mercury, Globes Awards and others. Successfully worked with such world-famous brands as Coca-Cola, Heineken, Land Rover, Tele2, Danone, Nestle. The author of the series of master-classes Brands and Rituals, professor of Communication Academy Wordshop. 

 

Armen Martirosyan

Rivo Raim

Working experience in the leading ad agencies of Estonia such as Grey and Leo Burnett, with well-known Estonian and world-wide brands Tele2, Elion, Swedbank, Farmi, Kraft Foods, Statoil, Honda, Elektrum, Marlboro, L&M, Philip Morris, Rimi, Monton.  Not once has been in the jury of local and international ad festivals. Is a holder of numerous industrial awards including Kuldmuna, Best Internet, Baltic Best, Golden Hammer, White Square, KIAF, Red Apple, W3 awards and Golden Drum. Believes that in order to achieve great results, people need passion, courage, perception of reality and trust. His strength is a long-term experience combining direct and web marketing as well as classical advertising with the aim to achieve the best results for the client. 

 

Marketing jury will judge the contests of advertising campaigns, media projects, marketing effectiveness, BTL, PR and DM projects.

The main criteria of entries evaluation are originality, novelty of idea, quality of its implementation. The Regulation on the Jury work at the Festival is available on the website and is based on principles of impartiality, objectivity and professionalism. In the contests of advertising campaigns and marketing services – BTL, PR, DM projects – one of the criteria of evaluation, next to creative, is effectiveness.

Full jury cast is currently at final stage of its forming and will be announced during February. Insignificant changes and adds in the jury are possible.

Traditionally White Square opens the festival season, starting a new creative year. It is where your entries have a chance to be recognized by professionals. Having a successful start at White Square, the winners and the finalists of the festival, as a rule, continue their winning procession and get the recognition far beyond Belarus at other international advertising festivals including Cannes Lions.

The winners are published on leading professional internet-resources over Russia, the CIS and Europe promoting the winning agencies in different countries. 

White Square is included into creativity ratings of Association of Advertising Organizations of Belarus, All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition, Association of Communication Agencies of Russia.

Traditionally there are several deadlines of entry submission. Cost varies  depending on the stage. The deadline of the main stage is on February 28.
